Vans Launches “Foot the Bill” to Support Local Skate Shops

Local businesses worldwide are struggling to stay afloat while they are forced to close their shops because of COVID-19. To help do their part Vans has announced it will support 80 of its small business partners through their “Foot the Bill” program.

Vans is of course no stranger to using their platform and brand to support important initiatives – and were once a small business too. “Foot the Bill” allow Vans to use its Custom Platform with 80 local businesses, including skate shops, restaurants, and community-spaces, to design and promote their own Vans custom shoe design.

Each Vans custom shoe design is available as a Classic Slip-on or Era sneakers. Each partner will have 500 pairs of shoes with the net proceeds from the sales going entirely to the business.

While “Foot the Bill” was launched in the US, new businesses from around the world are being added daily and over the next month will include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, China, the UK, and the Netherlands.
